Job Scope:
ƒß Delivery of profitable dramatic growth for Ingersoll Rand¡¦s electronic security products to achieve annual revenue targets and contribute to the achievement of business goals. Develop supportive channel relationships and create demand for Ingersoll Rand¡¦s products.
Primary Responsibilities:
ħ Drive demand for Ingersoll Rand products by developing and maintaining relationships with electronic channel partners, security consultants, specifiers, systems integrators and end users.
ħ Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with internal customers (including sales, marketing, customer services, purchasing and warehouse), sharing knowledge, increasing their electronics competencies and being a team player.
ħ Advise customers on product mix, application and promotions that meet their needs. Recognise opportunities to sell additional products and new products, provide electronic project leads and achieve call cycles to generate additional business.
ħ Provide product training and support to channel partners, specifiers, end users and others to enable them to confidently specify and sell Ingersoll Rand electronic products. Participate in joint sales calls and presentations to target customers and end users.
ħ Communicate opportunities on strategic sales and marketing issues (channels, pricing, products, promotions) to your Manager. Ensure timely and accurate completion of periodic sales reports to your Manager.
ħ Maintain awareness of all Ingersoll Rand policies, guidelines and procedures and ensure compliance.

Job Knowledge / Technical Skills / Qualifications
o Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering, Sales and Marketing Management or Business Administration.
o Minimum 5 years sales experience in the electronic security industry. Broad network of established relationships to leverage revenue opportunities for quick sales wins.
o Intimacy with commercial electronic access control, biometrics, CCTV and electronic hotel locks.
o Proven success in developing effective distribution channels and consistent high sales achiever.
o Project management skills.
o Proficient with Microsoft office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

o Customer focused with ability to communicate with a variety of customers and specifiers.
o Excellent verbal and written presentation/communication skills.
o Strong influencing skills along with a bias for action, driven to succeed.
